Leader's Message to Bring about Spiritual Revolution
Anthony James Hall, Canadian professor of Globalization Studies, is of the opinion that the letter of Iran's Supreme Leader will open a new chapter of spirituality in the minds and hearts of the western youth, describing it as timely and essential considering the psychological operations underway in the West to poison the minds of the younger generation.

I see Ayatollah Khamenei encouraging North American and European youths of all backgrounds to come to know through study, prayer and deep meditation the sacred lessons and stories extending from Adam to Noah to Abraham to Moses to Jesus to the Prophet Mohammed, Peace Be Upon Him, Peace Be Upon All the Emissaries of God," Anthony James Hall said in an exclusive interview with Fars News Agency.
He further said that the letter came at just the right time when the West is attempting to rebrand its so-called project of "Global War on Terrorism" (GWOT) as a fight against the ISIL terrorist group.
Anthony James Hall is Professor of Globalization Studies at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta Canada. Professor Hall earned his Ph.D. in History at the University of Toronto. His scholarship and activism began with the study of the encounter between indigenous peoples and the empires of France, Britain, Spain and Portugal in the Western Hemisphere. This saga of colonial expansionism culminated in the rise of the transcontinental, then hemispheric, and then worldwide empire of the United States which increasingly takes its direction from the Israeli regime, he says. His most recent books are the "American Empire and the Fourth World" as well as "Earth into Property: Colonization, Decolonizaton, and Capitalism".

Q: The Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, has penned an open letter to the young people of the West, urging them to seek out their own understanding of Islam with the help of primary and original sources and NOT the prejudiced views. The letter encourages the younger generation to read the Holy Quran, warning them against a flood of misinformation about Islam in the West. What's your take on the message?
A: Young people are especially vulnerable to the mental pollution being pumped into the body politic by the Zionist protagonists of the so-called Global War on Terror in all its manifestations, offshoots, derivatives and incarnations. Understanding this, the Supreme Leader is urging youths in the most toxified zones of war propaganda in the West to look beyond the misrepresentations to the truth in the divine light of spiritual revelations. Also, I do believe that the main obstacles to the path of true religion in the West is the lavishly-funded psychological operation seeking to divide humanity and thereby enslave humanity under a psychopathic regime of warlords whose wish is to transform Jerusalem into their imperial capital. The antidote to the mass mental illness that these warlords are trying to inculcate and spread is a global brotherhood and sisterhood of common purpose and respect, a confederacy of enlightenment to usher in a Great Era when peace and harmony will transcend the false barriers and antagonisms we must endeavor to transcend in order to bequeath a better world to our posterity.
Q: It seems that western governments are making all-out efforts in order to marginalize Islam and Quran and then promote Islamophobia throughout the world, specially in the West. In order to accomplish this, their mainstream media outlets, mainly dominated by Zionism, are spreading false narratives on Islam and Muslims all around the clock. What do you think?
The demonization of Islam by western so-called leaders and by the Zionist-controlled media has been going on for some time now. The intensity of the effort to misrepresent Islam and the Ummah, the worldwide community of Muslims, as an existential threat to the West was intensified with the Mossad-directed 9/11 Deception. Those overseeing this operation wrongfully and maliciously blamed the 9/11 debacle on CIA-Saudi operative, Osama bin Laden, and on a band of supposed Islamic extremists said to be motivated by blind reactionary hatred of the West.
The 9/11 Deception remains embedded in the prevailing official mythologies and foreign policy orientations of all the western countries even though millions of people in the West have been questioning the Big Lie. The Letter of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to youth in North America and Europe comes at a time when the ongoing 9/11 Wars and the Global War on Terror are being rebranded as a War against DAESH (ISIL terrorist group).
The 9/11 debacle was meant to provide a replacement enemy in the West for the defunct Soviet Union. Al-Qaeda was originally created by the CIA as one element of a proxy army recruited, funded, trained and organized during the presidency of Ronald Reagan to topple the Soviet-backed puppet regime in Afghanistan.
Employing Project Gladio-style tactics developed through an elaborate history of anti-communist false flag terrorism in the NATO countries, deep state operatives together with Zionist-controlled media went to work beginning on 9/11 to portray al-Qaeda as the West's all-purpose boogeymen. While al-Qaeda and the largely-manufactured and overinflated enemy of violent jihadism, extremist jihadism, were highlighted, the larger framework of this psychological operation has been and remains to engender fear of Islam, in other words Islamophobia, in the minds of westerners.
Following a script laid out in Samuel Huntington's book, Clash of Civilizations, the constant dissemination in the western media of the brain poison of Islamophobia helped feed western popular support for the NATO-led invasion of Afghanistan, the US-led invasion of Iraq as well as many other overt and covert interventions in territories dominated by Islamic populations.
The purpose of Islam's demonization in the West has been to replace the old communist enemy with a new enemy and thereby maintain the viability of the military-industrial complex at the core of the US permanent war economy. This political economy of militarization which continues yet goes back to the US entry into World War II in 1941. The Israeli interest in this psychological operation originating in the 9/11 Deception has been to present its regional enemies in the Middle East as the worldwide enemies of "the West," to reorient the old propaganda apparatus of anti-communism towards the current fixation with anti-terrorism.
The Israeli-American-NATO recruitment, funding, organization, and arming of DAESH (ISIL) with the help of Arab and Turkish comprador regimes in the Middle East is the most recent expression of a very well developed pattern. It is the latest manifestation of the protagonists' effort to renew and rebrand the Global War on Terror which depends on maintaining an atmosphere of constant fear of Islam in western minds. In this fashion the generation of Islamophobia has become big business in the West as demonstrated for instance by the commercial success of the Hollywood film American Sniper, a very sophisticated work of anti-Islam propaganda. Similarly, the stimulation of Islamophobia in the Western imagination has become a crucial requirement of various geopolitical strategies aimed, for instance, at gaining control of foreign natural resources along with Eurasian pipeline corridors or at restraining political dissent through police state oppression of domestic populations. /SR
