US after waging a war between Shia and Sunni

“US plan is to spark a war between Shia and Sunni people,” said Head of the Imam Sadeq (PBUH) Seminary in Lebanon, Sheikh Afif Al-Nablesi, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Speaking in a visit with a group of Iraqi religious scholars, Sheikh Al-Nablesi underscored that Muslims observe every day that the policies of the US claim many innocent lives in Iraq and other Islamic countries.

In his words, the policy and the aims US and Zionism are after in the region lead up to deepening the gulf among Muslims from different Islamic denominations especially Shia and Sunni.

He beckoned to the importance of increasing unity among the nation of Iraq calling it as the sold solution to put an end to the unremitting situation in the country.

In another line of speech, the religious cleric pointed to the political meltdown in Syria, likening it to the plagued milieu in Iraq and said such measure are preplanned in a bid to turn the region of Zionism to the main power in the region.

Sheikh Afif Al-Nablesi urged Muslims to stand against machinations and stratagems concocted by the U.S and bring security back to their land in the long run.
