A new edition of “Kom” scientific-research journal has been published in Belgrade, Serbia, by Qom Center of Religious Sciences.

According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the journal has an influential in the field of religious sciences in the Balkans.

It is edited by a group of eminent Islamic studies experts from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran, Germany, Nigeria, Britain and Indonesia.

“Mystical hermeneutics in Islam particularly stressing the Sublime Wisdom of Mulla Sadra”, “the status and importance of theoretical mysticism in Islam”, “human and society in view of Mulla Sadra”, “Divine nature of the Holy Quran’s terms” and “Islam and Muslim minorities in non-Muslim countries” are among the articles of this edition of the journal.

The next volume is due to be published in May 2015 and the deadline for submission of papers for the next edition is February 28, 2015.

The religious center has also published an article on Mulla Sadra’s epistemology in “Theoria”, a peer-reviewed academic journal publishing research in all areas of philosophy.

It has also introduced “A Brief History of Islamic Philosophy” to the National Library of Serbia, a translation of “Philosophy Teaching” by Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi to Human Studies Faculty of Mostar University in Bosnia and Herzegovina and published “A Brief History of Islamic Philosophy” at “Blitz” the high-circulation magazine in Serbia.

The Qom Center of Religious Sciences participated at the 59th international book fair in Belgrade where about 970 publishers and scientific-cultural centers presented their products.

Organization of a short-term educational course on “Islamic civilization movements” in Belgrade is another activity of the center.
