Iranian Shia jurisprudent highlighted the solidarity among Shia and Sunni community in Iran warning against enemies’ pursuit of opportunities through distancing Muslims from each other.

Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Ali Alavi Gorgani, renowned Iranian cleric, met with a group of Sunni scholars from Golestan Province noted that the friendly ties between Shia and Sunni in Iran is an honor warning against hostile efforts to open a space in Islamic states by spreading dispersion among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He expressed regret over the operation of some Muslim states and said,” The operation by some countries is an embarrassment to all Shia and Sunni communities.”
 
Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani stressed,” Shia and Sunni Muslims are beside each other in their commonalities.” Adding,” They should stand together contrary to the efforts of the enemies to distance them.”
 
Prominent professor at Qom Seminary hailed religion as the best pursuit of man and noted that once authorities and religious figures stand together the nation will make progress in all aspects of life.
