Al Azhar professor rejects Daesh as non-Muslim

A top professor at Al Azhar slammed Daesh ideologies against other Muslims excommunicating the terrorist group from Islam.

Sheikh Ahmed Karima, professor of Contemporary Fiq’h at Al Azhar, in a televised program, slammed against Daesh calling the terrorist group as atheists, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Daesh permits invasion against life, family and possession of Muslims, therefore, in my view they are out of Islam and non believers.”
 
According to Iran’s Hawza News Agency, when the Egyptian scholar was asked on the reason why the terrorist group is not rejected by Al Azhar referred to his disagreement with the Islamic seminary saying that everyone is free  to have his own view.
 
Sheikh Karima, in another part of his speech, noted,” Government and society is Islamic only when it is formed based on Islamic Sharia; therefore, Islamic law is never based on the whims of individuals.”
