Senior Armenian bishop hailed mutual respect among religions in Iran demanding that all foreign countries set the Islamic Republic as an example for coexistence of different faiths.

Anania Gojanian, senior bishop at the Armenian diocese of Isfahan, met with managers of Armenian language media from different countries and hailed the situation of the religious minority in Iran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” We do not feel to be minority and as citizens we count ourselves as Iranians because we are facilitated with everything Persian speaking and Muslim citizens are provided.”
Christian bishop of Vank Church said,” I have repeatedly demanded that all foreigners, particularly the US and Israel should set Iran as its role model because we truly feel the respect and coexistence.”
Armenian religious leader concluded,” Kindness and affection of the Iranian nation and government have included the Christian community and foreign countries should learn this behavior.”
