Iraqi Foreign Minister meets Ayatollah Araki

Iraqi Foreign Minister Ebrahim Jaafari who is in Tehran to attend 29th Conference of Islamic Unity, met Secretary General of World Assembly of Religious Proximity, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki on Saturday afternoon, Taghrib News Agency reported.

Important regional developments, especially the Takfiri groups and ways of countering such extremist tendencies like Daesh within the Islamic world were main topics of discussions between Ayatollah Araki and Iraqi Foreign Minister.
They also called for unity of Muslim Umma and the need for being vigilant against ongoing conspiracies by the world arrogance and enemies of Islam.
