These attacks broke out shortly after the conclusion of a temporary humanitarian pause, brokered by Egypt and Qatar, which lasted for seven days.

Israeli warplanes targeted six residential houses simultaneously in Khan Yunis, resulting in the tragic loss of 21 lives and injuries to 79 others, the majority being women and children.
