Amir-Abdollahian said: We consider the security of our brotherly and neighborly country Pakistan to be the same as the security of Iran and the region and we respect its sovereignty.

Referring to the deaths of the soldiers of the two countries in the fight against terrorism, he said: In the past years, terrorists have attacked the security of the two countries. There is no doubt that terrorists in border areas are guided by third countries. They never want the benefits of the two nations.

"Today, to ensure border security and fight terrorism, economic and trade cooperation, expansion of border markets and crossings, and creating free zones are on the agenda," said Iran's top diplomat.

He also announced the invitation of the Pakistani government to the President of Iran to visit that country.

The development of tourism, including pilgrimage tourism, and the finalization of cooperation projects between the two countries in energy were among the agreements of the two sides in this meeting, said Amir-Abdollahian.

He appreciated Pakistan's support to the people of Gaza and said that Iran will continue to strongly support the Palestinian resistance.
