Malaysia finds Expo 2020 Dubai touchstone to expand Halal industry
Malaysia's Halal Development Corporation in collaboration with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry introduced Halal industry and services of the country in Expo 2020 Dubai.

Halal Development Corporation Berhad in cooperation with Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) both under the supervision of Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) jointly held Halal Cluster Week during the Expo 2020 Dubai, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The Halal Cluster Week which was held in Malaysia pavilion on November 15-20 in a bid to introduce and promote the digital Halal export and show the capabilities of the country in Halal industry.
Hairol Ariffin Sahari, Chief Executive Officer of HDC in his speech at the opening of the event, called Halal industry as a key capability of Malaysia, a leading country in Halal industry across the globe.
As the organization for development of national trade, MATRADE has set participation in Expo 2020 Dubai on its agenda as a support for globalization of its products and Halal services.
MATRADE scheduled meetings on trade during the week which will facilitate trade deals during the 26 weeks of Expo 2020 Dubai.
