Berri says peaceful solution with Israel a pipe dream

Beirut - Taqrib News Agency (TNA) - "The important thing in the International Conference for Supporting Palestinian Intifada is to show out the concerted conspiracies against the Palestinian Cause, and the path we must select to protect the Palestinians and their rights," House Speaker Nabih Berri said upon arriving in Tehran, where he will participate in International confab on supporting Pelestinian Infifada (Uprising).

Berri was accompanied by a delegation composed of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc head, Muhammad Raad, and Deputy Arthur Nazarian.

On different note, Berri had a talk with the Iranian TV; he expressed his opinion that Palestinians' unity and the return to the Palestine Liberation Organization are the best means of resistance against "Israel", because any peaceful solution tried earlier by the Palestinians with "Israel" doomed to failure.

"After all", Berri said, “the United States of America, which is Israel's sponsor, will always veto at Security Council sessions any request for Palestinian state establishment."
