Hamas condemns US over approving new war fund for Israel

The leader of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has condemned the US as a complicit in Israel’s genocidal war against the besieged Gaza Strip after the House of Representatives approved a 26-billion-dollar military aid for Israeli regime.

Hamas, in its statement said the decision confirms the American complicity and partnership in genocidal war waged against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The statement referred to tens of thousands of innocent people killed in Israel’s brutal killing campaign against the blockaded territory and also the systematic destruction of cities, residential neighborhoods, all civil facilities and infrastructures in the Strip.

Hamas added that “the US administration and its President, Joe Biden, personally bear the political, legal, and moral responsibility for the war crimes committed by Israel against our Palestinian people through this support that violates international law.”

It added that the new military aid serves as a license and green light for the extremist Zionist government to continue its brutal aggression against the Palestinian nation and flagrantly violate all international laws and humanitarian norms.

The new US is approved as more than six months of Israeli atrocities against the besieged Gaza Strip has left a trail of death and destruction in Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, nearly 34,100 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed as a result of Israel’s incessant strikes since October7.

Nearly 77,000 people have been injured and another 7,000 are presumed to be dead under the rubble of Israeli bloodshed in Gaza.
