Seven Palestinians killed in an Israeli shelling that targeted a house in the center of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Similar shelling of the Shujaiya neighborhood earlier in the day killed two people.

That comes a day after the regime forces Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre in the al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip resulting in the death of 11 people killed and numerous wounded, the majority of whom were children.

Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation forces continued their intense shelling on northern Gaza, destroying a four-story house belonging causing damage to surrounding homes.

The regime forces also surrounded Al-Mahdiya Al-Shawwa school in Beit Hanoun, where hundreds of displaced people had sought refuge. The Gaza government media office said the Israeli army forcefully displaced Palestinians from the towns of Beit Hanoun and Jabaliya for the second consecutive day.

Salama Maruf, the head of the media office, condemned the actions in a statement, saying that the Israeli army conducted a military operation aimed at clearing the two areas.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has resulted in 33,843 documented Palestinian fatalities, in addition to 76,575 injuries since October 7, 2023.

The death toll is likely to rise as another 7,000 people are still trapped under the rubble across the besieged territory.
