Cleric condemns Israeli atrocities against Gaza in Eid al-Fitr message

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has denounced the Israeli regime for unabating ‘lunatic’ killing of the Palestinians in Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in a message issued on Tuesday felicitated the Muslims across the globe on the advent of Eid al-Fitr stressing that the unity and determination of Muslim world will eventually lead to liberation of holy Quds, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric hailed Eid al-Fitr as a day when Muslims across the globe perform the Eid prayer and mark one month of determination and taking steps in line with the holy Qur’an and God Almighty.
 
He also called the Eid al-Fitr a great festivity that manifests unity, determination and glory of the Muslim world.
 
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan when Muslims abstain from eating and drinking from dawn to dusk. Ramadan is especially a month of prayer, Qur’an recitation and charity activities.
