Ayat. Khamenei prays over bodies of Damascus attack martyrs

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei has performed the prayer over the bodies of the seven members of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) martyred in Israeli attack on Iran’s consular section in Damascus.

The martyrs include two senior commanders of the Quds Force of the IRGC, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The families of the slain IRGC members also attended this ceremony held in Imam Khomeini Husseiniya in the capital Tehran.

The funeral procession of the Marty’s will be held on Friday that marks the International Quds Day. 

Earlier in the day thousands of people held a funeral procession in Syria for the IRGC martyrs of the Monday attack on Iran’s consular section in the Syrian capital.
