Activists demonstrate outside Biden's campaign in Atlanta in protest of Israeli genocide

Dozens of activists and peace advocates gathered yesterday in front of a campaign office for U.S. President Joe Biden in Atlanta, Georgia, urging immediate intervention to stop the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Amidst the campaign atmosphere, one activist managed to interrupt President Biden's speech to his supporters, pressing for urgent action to protect Palestinians from Israeli atrocities.
Scores of Palestinian civilians were brutally killed by Israeli airstrikes or artillery shelling over the last hours across the Gaza Strip, as the ongoing Israeli genocidal onslaught on the enclave enters its 156th day in a row, according to local and medical reports.
In Khan Yunis province, southern Gaza, at least 15 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured in an Israeli bombardment targeting the tents of displaced families in Al-Mawasi region, which has ironically been designated as a 'safe zone' for Palestinians by the Israeli occupation army.
The attack on Al-Mawasi region coincided with Israeli warplanes unleashing intense fire belts over the adjacent city of Khan Yunis.
Meantime, a Palestinian was killed and three others were injured when Israeli occupation forces shelled a vehicle on Salah al-Din Road in the city of Rafah, located in the farthest south of the Gaza Strip.
In the central region of the Strip, medical sources reported that the bodies of more than 37 martyrs in addition to 118 wounded individuals were transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah.
The casualties brought to the hospital were a result of Israeli shelling on various areas of the central Gaza Strip during the past hours, accompanied by artillery shelling on civilian homes.
In Gaza City, in the northern half of the enclave, WAFA correspondent reported that five civilians were killed, and dozens were injured after the Israeli military targeted civilians waiting for aid near the Kuwait roundabout in the Zaytoun neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City. The casualties and the injured were transported to Al Shifa Medical Complex.
In the North Gaza province, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting the Abu Nasser family's house in the Beit Lahia project, resulting in the killing and injuries of several civilians.
According to local health authorities, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since early October 2023 has so far resulted in over 30,960 reported fatalities, most of whom are children and women, with an additional 72,524 documented injuries.
This toll remains initial since thousands of victims are feared dead under rubble or left in the streets, with Israeli forces hindering access for ambulance and civil defense crews.
