US veto of UNSC ceasefire resolution for Gaza revealed western approach

The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with thousands of the people from two southern provinces of Kerman and Khuzestan on Saturday morning, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Khamenei said,” World people do not separate the Zionist Israeli regime, the US and UK” and added that the US veto of the ceasefire resolution has in fact revealed the western viewpoint to the world people.

The Leader called the Gaza war as a distinctive war from two points of view,” On the one hand such bloodshed, brutality, infanticide, mercilessness and bombardment of the hospitals and patients has never been seen before, on the other hand such patience, perseverance and resistance of Gazans against enemies has been unparalleled.”

Ayatollah Khamenei said,” Although people do not have access to water, food and fuel, they are firmly standing against enemies and this resistance makes them victorious.”

Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the desperation of the Israeli regime despite their advanced military equipment was one important aspect of the confrontation and said,” Failure of the Israeli regime stands for a loss for the United States as the world does not differentiate the occupying Israeli regime from the UK and US.”

The Leader condemned the US veto of the UNSC ceasefire resolutions as shameless measures by the Washington and its alliance with the Israeli regime to shed bombs on children, women, the elderly, patients and civilians adding,” The great victory of the Palestinian nation and the resistance stands in defaming the west and the United States by revealing their fake human rights claims because Israeli regime could not commit all these crimes alone.”

According to the Leader Gaza war revealed the nasty image and the innate nature of the White House, the US administration and the UK.”

Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated importance of assisting the resistance front in any possible way and said,” To assist resistance is a duty and to assist the Israeli regime is a crime and treachery.”

The Leader expressed regret over the assistance from some Islamic countries for the Israeli regime and said,” Muslim nations will not forget this issue.”

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that to block supplies of fuel and goods to the occupied lands is a mission for the Islamic states since the Israeli regime has cut off even water to the besieged Gaza Strip and added,” Muslim nations should urge their governments to sever or at least temporarily restrict relations or aids for the criminal Israeli regime in order to press the blood thirsty regime for its war on Palestinians in the besieged Gaza.”

The Leader added,” The global conscience is suffering now. People in the US and European countries have taken to the streets and some political figures, scientists and university professors condemn their government’s support for the Israeli regime.”

Ayatollah Khamenei vowed that the occupying Israeli regime will eventually be uprooted.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution hailed Iran’s southern province of Khuzestan as the flag-bearer and key hub of resistance against foreign forces counting their confrontation with the military invasion of the British forces in early years after WW I and active participation in nationalization of the oil industry as two instances for that.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei also called on the Iranians to prepare for massive turnout in parliamentary election to be held in March 1^st.
