Iran FM, OIC secretary-General confer on latest Gaza developments

Iran's top diplomat, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, had a phone call with Hossein this evening Ebrahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, discussed and exchanged opinions about the latest situation in occupied Palestine and developments related to the recent aggressions of this regime against the Gaza Strip, as well as the movements of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in this regard.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country in This phone call, while expressing deep regret and condemning the continued attacks and aggressions of the Zionist regime, which has so far led to the martyrdom of about 20,000 residents of Gaza, including a large number of innocent women and children, and is a clear example of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. It is counted, that the international community, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, called for more action to stop these attacks.
Amir-Abdollahian, while pointing to the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza and the medical and health problems and restrictions created, stressed the need to adopt appropriate and urgent solutions to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid and shipments, especially medical and pharmaceutical items. The approvals of the recent meeting of leaders in Riyadh emphasized and declared readiness to send such aid from our country.
