Tehran hosts ceremony to celebrate contemporary poet, researcher Azarshab

The director of University of Islamic Denominations has called prominent cultural figure, Mohammad Ali Azarshab, as the connecting ring between the Persian and Arab language, culture and literature.

Seyyed Abbas Salehi, in his speech at the ceremony to celebrate the renowned cultural and Islamic proximity figure, hailed Dr. Azarshab for long years of endeavor to promote proximity between the Shia and Sunni community, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

 
He referred to the efforts by the prominent translator and literary figure in three arenas ethnical, religious and civil proximity and praised his efforts to bridge the gap between Iran and some Arab countries.

 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ali Ghazi Asgar, the guardian of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani shrine in southern Tehran, referred to the biography of the Leader of the Islamic Republic which was compiled by Mohammad Ali Azarshab in several meetings with Ayatollah Khamenei.
 
The cleric also hailed nearly 50 other books written by Mohammad Ali Azarshab in different fields.
 
He lauded the active participation of the author and translator in the international scientific meetings and also his research on the Arab world studies.

 
Head of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in his speech at this ceremony, praised Mohammad Ali Azarshab as a pride for Iran and an asset for the Arab world.
 
Molavi Es’haq Madani said,” The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Leader Ayatollah Khamenei have paid a heavy price for the present unity in the world of Islam” warning of the plots by world arrogant powers to disperse Muslims.
 
The top Sunni cleric added that to pursue proximity activities demands much endeavor and devotion praising Mohammad Ali Azarshab for his struggles to promote solidarity among Muslims.
 
The ceremony at the University of Islamic Denominations celebrated more than fifty years of cultural and religious efforts by Dr. Mohammad Ali Azarshab.
