Iran’s al-Mustafa University to host Qur’anic research meeting

Al-Mustafa International University in Iran has announced schedule for a meeting on the holy book of Islam entitled ‘A Critical Examination of Historical-Critical Methods in Qur’an Studies’.

Mohammad Reza Peysepar, researcher and university professor, will deliver speech at the scientific meeting on Qur’an which is to be held, at Al-Mustafa International University in the holy city of Qom, Iran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The scientific meeting on the topic ‘A Critical Examination of Historical-Critical Methods in Qur’an Studies’ will be held at 10:00 AM Tehran local time (13:30 GMT) on Sunday December 10.

The director of Linguistics and Teaching Department at Taghrib Studies research center, Iranian cleric and professor, Mohammad Reza Peysepar has completed his studies in English Language and Literature and also Fiq’h and Islamic Law at University of Tehran.
 
He received his MA in Applied Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from University of Newcastle, UK.
