Islamic unity means to uproot war, Takfir in Muslim world
A senior Iranian cleric has stressed that the yardstick for Islamic unity is that war, Takfir (excommunication) and terror is uprooted in the world of Islam.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has warned of hostile moves to promote murder among Islamic denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He made the comment in a meeting with Pakistani delegation stressing,” Terror is not an Islamic project because basically Islam respects life of all people.”
The cleric noted that the role models for unity in the world of Islam does not necessitate countries to merge but the scale for solidarity is that there is no war, Takfir or terror in the Islamic countries and added that a counter-attack against such plots is to highlight axes for unity among Muslims.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari noted that some hostile measures aim to promote murder among different Islamic denominations.
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought referred to the issue of Palestine as a common axis among all Islamic groups.
He said,” The growing pressure by Israeli regime pushed the Palestinian groups to launch a retaliatory attack” and added,” If it was not for Washington’s support for Tel Aviv, Israeli regime would certainly been defeated.”
The Iranian scholar said the disintegration of Pakistan and Kashmir is in line with plots by world arrogant powers who is still maintaining its intrigue to tear down the entire region.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought called on prominent Pakistani politician, Seraj ul Haq, to discuss the ongoing situation in Palestine with the different religious groups in his country and said,” Once Pakistan achieves unity, a unified front of 250 million people is formed against arrogant powers.”
A delegation of Pakistani experts and elites visited Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in the capital Tehran on Sunday.
