Al Azhar calls on Muslim, Arab nations to unite in defense for Palestine

The grand mufti of al-Azhar has condemned the ongoing “blind terrorism” in the Palestinian lands and urged the Arab and Muslim countries for an immediate alliance in the face of Israeli atrocities against the Gaza Strip.

Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb, in a message issued on X, former Tweeter platform, condemned the occupying Israeli regime for its blind terrorism in Gaza, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” What is being perpetrated by the vicious Zionist occupation in Gaza in the form of intense bombing, killing, cutting off electricity and internet, destroying all aspects of life, and blocking information about the scale of massacres and war crimes taking place constitutes blind terrorism and a blatant violation of legal and humanitarian conventions and norms.”
 
Senior Egyptian scholar called on the world people to condemn the crimes by Israeli regime and take action for immediate stop of the crimes committed against Palestinians.
 
He said,” History will never forgive those who failed to defend innocent Palestinians or supported this continued Zionist terrorism.
 
The grand mufti of al-Azhar urged the Arab and Islamic nations, along with all free people of the world to unite and find an immediate solution for the desperate situation of the Palestinians facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
 
The death toll in Gaza since the start of Israeli aggression has reached over 7,400 with more than 20,500 wounded. Meanwhile, Tel Aviv has, meanwhile, been threatening to launch a ground invasion against the coastal territory.
