Iranian Jewish community condemns Israeli strike against al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital

The Iranian Jewish community has held a ceremony in a synagogue in the capital Tehran to condemn the past two weeks’ Israeli crimes against Palestinians, specifically the recent attack on al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalezar, head of the central Dar-ul-Sharia center of Jews in Iran and a number of the Jewish community attended the ceremony to voice solidarity with the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
In this ceremony held on Wednesday, the participants condemned the Israeli strike against the al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital that killed more than 700 Palestinian civilians the majority of them women and children.
 
Rabbi Hamami Lalehzar voiced solidarity with the Palestinians and noted,” What the Israeli regime does, has nothing to do with pure Jewish teachings” and added, ” Just as Daesh terrorist group does not represent Islam, the Zionist regime of Israel cannot represent Judaism.
 
According to the senior Jewish figure, the Zionist regime misuses a set of ideals of Judaism and takes actions that have many opponents among Jews themselves.
 
“Killing the disabled people who are in hospital is not approved by any wise man” said Rabbi Hamami Lalehzar condemning the brutal attack on al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital.
 
Other participants in this ceremony also denounced the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians and expressed disavowal of the crimes by Zionist Israeli regime committed under the name of Judaism.
