“They can serve as a model for followers of other religions. Since advent of Islam in the first and second centuries, there have been unity and synergism in Islamic sciences. Those times, there were scientific controversies due to existing differences. However, the differences never affected relations among Muslims. Hence, we believe that Islamic sciences should return to their original status in the first and second centuries, as cooperation and synergism among Muslims need to be established.”
The thinker went on to say that scientific and religious dialogue has the capacity to provide an appropriate scientific atmosphere for all religions and schools of thought. Today, there is a kind of trust in Islamic schools of thought of the world of Islam. The trust to help the world of Islam can be helpful.
“Therefore, Ulima of all religions and schools of thought should adhere to the principle of dialogue. Followers of religions and different schools of thought should have adequate knowledge of the way to consolidate unity among schools of thought. Religious and inter-faith dialogue would prepare the ground for cooperation among religions and schools of thought because exchange of opinion will be possible in light of the dialogues,” he concluded.
