Ayoubi noted, “There is a distance between us and realization of our goal, i.e., Islamic unity. Within a few days, we can cut the way short or continue it generation by generation. To achieve Islamic unity, we should lead a peaceful life. To meet the goal, we should aside discording issues, inherited from the past.”

He said, “Since few decades ago, we have been waiting fruition of the ideological activities and getting the fruit of unity through materialization of the sacred Quranic values. Such values should not only be met in the level of religious dignitaries and Ulima but also at more extensive levels such as societies, countries and nations. Training institutions, the media and cultural centers should move towards actual materialization of sacred Quranic values under government supervision.”
Ayoubi highlighted, “One should be careful of the divisive and provocative speeches; meanwhile, those scattering seeds of dissension by religious and sectarian prejudice should be seriously confronted. Today, we are witnessing diversity of opinions and faiths, which should be used as intersection of ideology and schools of thought and not as a source of difference and dispersion.”

“It should also be noted that any achievement in Islamic unity needs contribution of all and expansion of the spirit of social accountability. Thoughts, ideas and opinions, raised in the proximity and unity conferences over more than 30 years ago, are enough to build an elite, integrated, united and comprehensive Islamic Ummah,” the thinker stated.
Elsewhere the Lebanese thinker noted, “All of us have put our hands on pain but fail to take the medicine for the pain of dispersion, conflict and separation.  Real and practical unity of Muslims will be possible only when set aside all forms of separation and rift and concentrate our efforts on formation of an integrated global leadership.”
He concluded, “We support the Islamic Republic of Iran’s policy of keeping door open to the Arab and Islamic countries, including Turkey and Saudi Arabia. We hope that the path will continue to be paved for improvement of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia and relations between Tehran and Cairo. “
