Lebanese thinker: Global arrogance, Zionism have targeted Islamic values, sanctities

Under present conditions, it is necessary for Muslims to rely on their faith and belief in principle. Moreover, it should be said that unity should not be a mere impractical slogan of consumerism and being only superficial. Unity should be a motto to strengthen power and close ranks in various fields. Unity should be used as a slogan to confront challenges and threats. Through unity, the new declared war of the global arrogance and hostile and tyrant Zionism can be confronted today. Today, global arrogance and Zionism have targeted collection of Islamic values and sanctities. Just for this reason, we are witnessing repeated insult to prophet of kindness and humanity, i.e., Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Just for the same reason we are witnessing holy Quran setting fire in certain countries. At the same time, we see spread of the diversionary culture of homosexuality in the countries.
All the anti-Islamic measures show power of the monotheistic religion of Islam. The monotheistic religion, has such a power, at a time when western communities’ values are getting eliminated. The communities that owners of power and wealth dictate their wishes on them and turn them into their tool. Today, we are facing a modern Islamic movement and we are witnessing victory of pure Mohammadan Islam in re-taking assumption of affairs. Today, we see that Islam is subject to pre-determined and pre-planned onslaughts under the pretexts of freedom of expression and democracy. This is while, the onslaughts are pre-preplanned. The corrupt and morally diversionary organizations also play a role in implementing the anti-Islamic projects.
As Muslims in Islamic Ummah we should confront such a phenomenon, i.e., insult to Islam. Such an important goal will be possible through setting aside differences. Through discarding differences, we will be able to repel the challenges that are ahead of our principles and generations. Attention to holy Quran, as a comprehensive and broad-based book, should be put atop of our endeavors. If we rely on holy Quran and Ahl-ul-Bait, we will never be misled. Today, global arrogance well knows that the key to our power and unity is holy Quran; the book that contains no false neither at present nor in the future. The book embodies a collection of moral and human values, while being the most valuable treasure that mankind can attain it.
Despite all the wars that have been waged on Islam and irrespective of all insults and plots to mislead Muslims and cover up realities, today, we well observe that Islamic Ummah has risen up by protecting and safeguarding holy Quran and by relying on its valuable injunctions and teachings. Among teachings and injunctions of holy Quran reference can be made to kindness, cooperation, serving God’s masses, sincerity, fulfilling trust, avoiding injustice, helping the oppressed, confronting and fighting the arrogant powers, tyrants and occupiers and confronting humiliation. Essence of liberals’ activities is humiliating societies. Among other holy Quran teachings and injunctions is cooperation of various groups of societies with each other and setting aside social and racial differences. This means that there is no difference between black and white and poor and rich and all are equal in humanity. Human beings are either brothers in religion or single one in creation. These are all the human and moral values, which should be used in the way to build a society and make it successful. All ranks of Muslims, especially scientific figures and intellectual communities should strive for implementation of the said values and be proud of such values before other nations. Today, we see that non-Islamic Ummahs are suffering disintegration after domination of enemies of humanity on them.
For the time being, we are facing hard challenges and many threats. Enemy is using all its facilities and capacity to remove our moral values, which are manifested in Islam, notably holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Therefore, under such conditions, we should act in a way to overcome the challenges. Our weapon should be unity as God Almighty says in holy Quran, “Hold fast together to the cable of Allah and be not divided.” At the end, I express my thanks to the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for its blessed efforts in the field of unity.
