Senior cleric: Islamic thinkers should try to turn unity into a culture
The senior cleric has said, "All Islamic Ulima, Islamic thinkers and all influential figures in Muslim Ummah should try to turn unity into a culture, introduce it as a duty and present it as a sign of being member of Islamic Ummah in the Islamic community. Obligatory prayer, obligatory fasting, and obligatory Hajj are Islamic duties but looking to the issue from a superior angle, we will clearly understand that unity of Islamic Ummah is a duty and very necessary duty as enemy has always been trying to divide Islamic Ummah, Islamic countries and Muslims."

"Enemy plays trick in various regions so that Islamic Ummah and Muslims fall in their trap. They try to guide Muslims into pitfalls. Therefore, it would not be worthy of Islamic Ummah. Any defiance of the injunctions will lead to dangers constantly posing Islam and Muslims," Ayatollah  Noor Mofidi stressed.

The representative of the Supreme Leader in Gorgan elsewhere adressed the Islamic Ulima, Islamic sects and schools of thought  and noted they should try to find a commonality in the areas of difference.
"Enemies today are pointing their arms to Muslims; now, it is duty of Islamic Ulima to reach a real unity and inform the world that all of us are beside each other. The world should know that Muslims are along each other and do not seek discord."
