The family of Indian Muslim man is in a state of shock following his brutal death by a Hindu mob at mosque in western India.

Hassan, a 31-year-old civil engineer, has been killed and over a dozen others wounded by a group of extremist Hindu mob when he was praying at local mosque.
 
Witnesses say the mob surrounded the mosque, chanting anti-Muslim slogans and making inflammatory remarks about Islam. “Around 150-200 Hindu men gathered outside the masjid and started throwing stones, damaging some parked vehicles.”
Witnesses also say the angry mob broke into the mosque carrying sharp weapons, iron rods and batons.
The young engineer was hit on his head with an iron rod multiple times, causing him to collapse in a pool of blood.
 
The mob also set fire to a nearby shop and vandalized several vehicles and handcarts bearing Muslim names.
 
The mob left the scene after the local people called the police.
