Iran slams terrorist attack in Burkina Faso

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Nasser Kanaani condemned the attack by terrorist outfits on the soldiers of Burkina Faso, which killed and injured dozens of soldiers of this country.

 The headquarters of the Burkina Faso army announced last Tuesday that 17 soldiers and 36 allied forces were killed in an attack by terrorists in the north of the country.
 
A day after a deadly attack on Burkina Faso army forces, Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the attack.
 
The Al-Qaeda terrorist organization announced that elements of this terrorist outfit attacked the Burkina Faso army forces in the "Kumbri" region of the " Yatenga " province located in the north of this country.
 
Since 2015, Burkina Faso, like its neighbors Niger and Mali, has witnessed attacks and killings by elements affiliated with the terrorist outfits Al-Qaeda and ISIS, which have led to the death of thousands of people and the displacement of nearly two million people in this country.
