The Service to Quran society, known as Huffaz, has published the translation as a measure to counter Quran desecrations in Sweden.

Abdul Aziz al-Rifa’ei, president of the society, said the translation has been rendered in cooperation with Scandinavia Education Foundation.

He said it is the most accurate translation of the Quran in the Swedish language.
It also includes an interpretation of the Holy Book based on famous Quran exegesis, al-Rifa’ei added.

He further noted that a team of scholars and translators cooperated in rendering the translation.

He went on to say that the copies will be distributed with the aim of countering Quran desecrations and supporting Sweden’s Muslims and Islamic centers.

Al-Rifa’ei added that the charity society plans to print and distribute thousands of other copies of Quran translations in different languages.
