Any Israeli miscalculation to face response from resistance

Secretary General of Lebanese resistance movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has warned that any miscalculation against the resistance will face response from the group.
Any Israeli miscalculation to face response from resistance
Nasrallah issued the warning in a meeting with visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in the capital Beirut on Friday as the two men exchanged views on the latest developments in Lebanon and the West Asia region.

“Today, the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance is in its strongest position, and if the Zionists act based on miscalculation, they will face a response from the resistance that will make it regret [its decision],” the Hezbollah chief said.

Nasrallah also hailed the “constructive” role of Iran in the region and Lebanon as he honored the memory of the martyrs of the resistance front.

The leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement lauded as “unforgettable” the role of Iran’s late anti-terror commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in stabilizing the security of the region in the fight against Zionism and terrorism.

Amir-Abdollahian, for his part, discussed with Nasrallah the recent political developments in Lebanon and the region, including the developments in Palestine, Syria and the status of the resistance front as well as some important developments in the Muslim world.

Amir-Abdollahian briefed the Hezbollah chief about his recent talks with Saudi Arabia's authorities, saying, “The process of implementing the bilateral agreements will be an indicator of the two countries’ perspectives in the new chapter of relations between Tehran and Riyadh.”

The top Iranian diplomat also said foreign-backed measures to activate terrorists in Syria bespoke the goals of the enemies and the Israeli regime to destabilize Syria and the security of the region.

Earlier in the day, Amir-Abdollahian met with his Lebanese counterpart Abdallah Rashid Bouhabib and Lebanon's Parliament speaker Nabih Berri in the capital Beirut as he pointed to the “key importance” of Lebanon's stability and security for Iran and the entire region.

Amir-Abdollahian arrived at Beirut International Airport on Thursday afternoon and said Tehran desires nothing other than welfare, stability and peace for Lebanon.
