Representative of the Leader in Kurdistan province has called on Muslims to deeply think about unity as it remains a key issue in the world of Islam.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Abdulreza Pourzahabi, speaking at the 3rd Regional Islamic Unity Conference on the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values” referred to sincere belief as a fundamental factor for unity in view of the Leader, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Organized by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought the third regional Islamic Unity Conference discusses “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values”.
 
Shia and Sunni scholars from Russia, Turkey, Syria, Georgia and Iraq are attending the international conference scheduled to be held in the city of Urmia on August 9.
 
The cleric called for explanation on the rational basis of Islamic unity.
 
He said,” Islamic unity should be based on confidence in Almighty God rather than superstitions.”
 
He warned of those who damage the move towards unity by leading it astray.
  
The regional conferences are in line with the Islamic Unity Conference annually held concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
