OIC condemns Israeli airstrike against Gaza Strip as “heinous crime”

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has issued a statement to denounce the latest round of Israeli airstrike against the Gaza Strip leaving over a dozen dead.

The major Islamic body has defined as “heinous crime” the Israeli aggression on residential area killing 13 people including three commanders of Islamic Jihad resistance movement, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The OIC has considered the attack a violation of international humanitarian law and held Israel fully responsible for the deadly attack and its repercussions.
 
It also blamed Tel Aviv regime over the organized terrorism and threats to undermine security and stability in the region.
 
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation called on the international community to stand responsible and protect the Palestinian people.
 
It also urged for efforts to hold Israeli occupation accountable for all its crimes against the Palestinians, their land and holy sites.
 
Israeli regime has confirmed that 40 aircraft and drones were involved in the early Tuesday attacks on the Gaza Strip.
