World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has held a ceremony to mark five decades of interfaith activities by senior Iranian Sunni cleric Molavi Es’haq Madani.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought hailed more than fifty years of efforts by Molavi Es’haq Madani to promote proximity and solidarity in the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Two books on the top Iranian Sunni cleric were also unveiled in this ceremony.
 
A number of prominent clerics and cultural figures attended this ceremony which was held to commemorate the professors at the University of Islamic Denominations concurrent with Teachers’ Day in Iran.
 
Deputy of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, HUjjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mousa Mousavi and a number of religious and cultural figures including Hujjat-ul-Islam Abdul Karim Biazare Shirazi, Mohammad Ali Azarshab, Seyyed Abbas Salehi also participated in this ceremony.
