The Israeli regime forces have demolished a five-story apartment building in Anata town, northeast of Jerusalem, under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

Bulldozers escorted by police forces stormed as-Salam neighborhood in Anata and embarked on knocking it down, with no prior notice, local sources reported.
 
Some of the apartments in that building were reportedly inhabited while the others were under construction.
In east Jerusalem also Israeli forces systematically demolishes Palestinian homes and structures under the pretext of unlicensed construction, while it prevents the local residents from obtaining permits or makes it difficult for them to meet construction conditions.
 
This is while Israeli occupation army delivered stop-work orders against 11 Palestinian homes in Jiftlik village, north of Jericho, at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
 
According to local sources, some of these houses are under construction and others were built in 1960 and 1975.
 
Meanwhile, the Israeli army’s blockade of the occupied West Bank city of Jericho continued for the 12th consecutive day on Wednesday.
