Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism has issued a statement to condemn racial attack on mosque in Bordeaux.

The Egyptian prestigious university has denounced unknown people for racial graffiti on mosque in Bisaque, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) reported al-Watan as saying.
 
The perpetrators have reportedly painted the logo of a far-right movement at the entrance of the mosque.
 
Al-Azhar has referred in its statement to previous instances of Islamophobia in the country.
 
Al-Azhar Observatory for Combatting Extremism called for protection of religious centers and serious confrontation with hate-inspired measures by extremist groups.
