Iran, Oman cooperation to facilitates free zones development

He stated that initial agreements have been made and good progress has been achieved for the development of joint free zones between the two countries.

The official noted: "We believe that the trade relations between the two countries can be much higher than the current figures and the signing of the memorandum will help the development of trade and economic relations between Iran and Oman which in turn will have a tangible and great impact."
The Secretary of the Supreme Council of Iran's Free Zones, pointing out that the export of Iran to Oman in the past Iranian year(stated on March 21,2022) was twice the same period as before, said: "The cooperation between the free zones of the two countries, in addition to creating an environment for investors, can develop the export and import of Iran and Oman much more than in the past and provide the basis for increasing employment and investment in these areas."
In this meeting, the ambassador of Oman also announced his country's interest in the cooperation agreement between the free zones of the two countries.
