WAFA quoted Muayyad Shaban as saying on Saturday the Israeli army claimed in its military order that these seized tracts of land are classified as state land.
Shaban added that this land grab order is part of a major Israeli plan to control the area overlooking the Jordan Valley region and the eastern mountains of the West Bank in order to build or expand settlements and carry out projects for settlers.
He pointed out that since the beginning of this year, the Israeli army had issued three orders converting private Palestinian lands around the village into state land, which prevented local residents from reclaiming or cultivating them in any way.
