40% growth in trade between Iran, Africa

The vice president of Iran and Africa Merchants Club announces a 40% growth in Iran-Africa trade.
Latifi added: The trade between Iran and African countries in the first eight months of the year has grown by 10.5% in weight and 39% in value.
According to the vice president of Iran and Africa Merchants Club, South Africa, Mozambique, and Sudan were the top three destinations for the export of Iranian goods during the span.
Regarding imports from Africa, he also said: In the first eight months, Iran imported 69 thousand 31 tons of goods worth 66 million dollars from 21 African countries, which has grown by 77% in weight and 98% in value compared to the same period last year.
Iran has imported the most goods from Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa.
