Iran highlights ongoing negotiations with Russia for development of phases 2, 3 of Bushehr power plant

The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran(AEOI) said: "Iran and Russia have good economic relations and we are negotiating with Russia for the development of phases 2 and 3 of the Bushehr nuclear power plant."

The official stressed, "Because these are great projects, they need huge investment."
 
Kamalvandi highlighted: "Therefore, we must consider financial issues and in this regard we are negotiating with Russia."
 
 "Iran and Russia have good nuclear relations and we want to negotiate for the development of nuclear relations," he said, noting that the visit of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation is in the field of economic development in all fields.
