Iran's FM spotlights sensitivity of issues caused by dust
The Iranian Foreign Minister spoke to the foreign ministers of Syria, Iraq and Kuwait over the phone about emphasizing the sensitivity and urgency of managing the problem of the dust of foreign origin in different countries, which has led to disruption of normal life and threatened natural life.

They agreed that an expert technical delegation consisting of the Department of Environment and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Irnaian relevant institutions would immediately leave for Iraq and Syria to discuss the issue of collective regional cooperation and in exchange with their counterparts.
Given the fact that part of the regional cooperation to deal with dust relies on the active participation and cooperation of the Saudi government, it was decided that the Iraqi Foreign Minister will pursue this issue with his Saudi counterpart so that the country can also participate and help a regional initiative to solve this problem.
Earlier, Amir Abdollahian discussed this issue in his last telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, and the Turkish Foreign Minister had also offered his readiness for active participation in these consultations and cooperation.
