On the occasion of the 27th of Rajab, the seventh month of the Islamic calendar, marking Eid al-Mab’ath, Imam Reza holy shrine has programed many cultural and religious celebrations for arriving Iranian and foreign pilgrims by fully observing health protocols, says Hoj. Hossein Shariatinejad, Imam Reza shrine’s general director for Islamic Ideology Dissemination.

According to Shariatinejad the joyful ceremonies of this special occasion started by kittle drum playing of servants of Imam Reza shrine on Monday night. “Hoj. Masoud Ali was keynote speaker of the night of the occasion and Seyyed Mahdi Mirdamad as well as Mahdi Sarvari had their joyful recitations at Imam Khomeini portico”.

Shariatinejad further noted: “Special programs of the day of Mab’ath began by religious lecture of Hoj. Mohammad Javad Haj Aliakbari, provisional Friday prayer leader of Tehran, and continued by pilgrimage supplication of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) read by renowned national panegyrist of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) Ali Malaekeh. The ceremonies came to end following Isha prayers in Imam Khomeini portico by religious lecture of Hoj. Masoud Ali and eulogy recitations of Hossein Taheri and Mohammad Reza Taheri”.
