Razavi Hospital receives grade one certificate of Iran's medical centers

Razavi Hospital, in the Iranian northeastern city of Mashhad, has received grade one certificate following an assessment by national hospital accreditation program in the country.

Run by administration of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), in the Iranian northeastern city of Mashhad, Razavi Hospital has received grade one certificate as announced by Mohsen Mehvar, the CEO of the prestigious medical center, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said the achievement was made only by two hospitals in Mashhad which has made a popular destination for medical tourists from other countries.
 
According to the CEO of Razavi Hospital, the medical center has proved satisfactory function in regards to quality leadership and management, natural disasters management, human resources and professional health management, nursing services management and health information management and technology among 19 criteria based on which Razavi Hospital has been assessed.
 
Stressing the effective role of Razavi Hospital during the coronavirus pandemic, Mohsen Mehvar, noted the entire facilities were mobilized to assist Mashhad University of Medical Sciences with the admission of corona patients.
 
He enumerated ‘Islamism’, ‘financial discipline’ and ‘public service orientation (PSO)’ on the strategic plan of the medical center.

The facility has also been introduced as Khorasan Razavi Province’s green service unit in 22nd Congress for Green Industrial and Service Units.

Inaugurated in 2005, the hospital had hosted international heart congresses in Mashhad for three consecutive years before the coronavirus pandemic attended by prominent physicians and specialists from the world’s major universities and cardiovascular associations.

The land of the hospital had been endowed to Imam Reza holy shrine and the decision-makers put it to the public utility offering the world-class standards in health and medical care. 
 
Razavi hospital-hotel was built in an area of 369 hectares with a built-up area of 56000 square meters distributed in 5 floors during the first phase. As a result of environmental issues, 36 hectares of this land is used for green space.
