Mini-states invading Yemen suffering from a security crisis

27 Jan 2022 - 11:50

"The aggressor mini-states in Yemen, like the UAE, are suffering from an internal security crisis," the Spokesman for Yemen's Ansarullah Movement Mohammed Abdul-Salam said.

"If countries leave the Yemeni quagmire, they will not need a US security beggar, but if they stay in Yemen and continue their aggression, US support will not provide them with security," the tweet reads.
The crisis in Yemen escalated in 2015 when a Saudi-led military coalition launched a devastating air campaign; tens of thousands of Yemenis, including numerous civilians, are believed to have been killed in the conflict since then, while another 14 million are at risk of starvation, according to the UN.
The UAE has participated in the Saudi-led genocide against Yemen, avoiding war on its soil for the most part, but that has changed. This shows the military capabilities of the Yemenis to have grown substantially as they are now able to reach targets thousands of kilometers away.
Recently, the armed forces in Yemen have targeted some parts of Saudi Arabia and the UAE with their missiles in retaliation for the two countries' aggression against their country.
The Yemeni armed forces' spokesman has also warned that with the United Arab Emirates' involvement in the devastating Saudi-led war, the Emirates' popular Expo 2020 might be the next target amid the wave of Yemeni retaliatory attacks against the Persian Gulf country.
