Supreme Leader meets with President Raeisi, new cabinet

Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei met with President Ebrahim Raeisi and his cabinet members on Saturday morning.

Ayatollah Khamenei called on the new cabinet to make its best in line with improving the livelihood of the people.
 
The Supreme Leader said the new administration should focus on initiating a revolutionary and thoughtful reconstruction in all managerial fields.
 
According to Ayatollah Khamenei, “being revolutionary must certainly be accompanied by rationality” adding that “This has been the correct way of the Islamic Republic since the very beginning.”
 
President Ebrahim Raeisi also said he has chosen a team to improve the economy and fight corruption reiterating that to form a “popular government” was a slogan in his campaign since the beginning.
 
The Supreme Leader hailed President Ebrahim Raeisi for the surprise visit he paid to Iran’s southern province of Khuzestan on Friday and hearing from the people showing his popularity in the first of his provincial visit after taking office.
 
Ayatollah Khamenei also highlighted establishment of justice as an important basis of the Islamic government and said a lot of work has to be done in this regard.
