Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has warned of the deteriorating situation of prisoners in Israeli jails who have been on hunger strike for a few weeks.

The group of ten Palestinian prisoners who have gone on hunger strike in Israeli jail has deteriorated as Israeli officials have reportedly “failed to hear their demands” announced the PPS.
 
Palestinian prisoners are protesting the administrative detention, negligence of medical care and inappropriate hygienic standards by Israeli authorities.
 
The inmates have also been subjected to harassment, repression and systematic torture by Israeli jailers.
 
More than 7,000 Palestinians are held at Israeli detention centers as hundreds of them are kept under the practice of administrative detension.
