Yemen shoots down US spy drone over Marib Province

The spokesman for Yemeni Armed Foreces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree has confirmed that the army has shot down a US spy drone in Marib on Saturday.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree confirmed the attack by Yemeni surface-to-air missile which led to shot down of the US Scan Eagle spy drone in his tweeter account.
 
He noted that the spy drone was amid a hostile mission in Marib before it was shot down by Yemeni Armed Forces.
 
The footage images of the attack will reportedly be released soon.
 
This is the second shot down of the US Scan Eagle drone conducting intelligence operation over Yemeni aerial territory in the past two months.
