Archbishop of Armenians felicitates Iranian nation for Persian New Year

Archbishop of Armenian Diocese of Tehran has issued a message felicitating Iranian nation on arrival of the Persian New Year demanding US authorities to end the unfair sanctions against the Iranians.

Sebouh Sarkissian, leader of the Armenian Church in Tehran has issued a message on Monday to commemorate Nowrouz and the Persian New Year urging the United States to end years of sanction against Iran which has been a hub of coexistence throughout history, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said," World powers should review their diplomacy and endeavor to establish peace and friendly ties amid the critical situation across the globe" and added," We particularly call on the US authorities to end the unfair sanctions against Iran, which has been the cradle of civilization and a hub of religious coexistence since the beginning as it continues the strategy at present."
 
He noted Nowruz a time for renovation and establishment of fraternity and coexistence expressing regret over the countries which struggle to create crisis for world nations.
 
Sebouh Sarkissian issued the message on the eve of the Persian New Year when Iranians mark the beginning of the new year 1400 (solar calendar) with the beginning of spring.
