"Gen. Soleimani projected compassionate image of Islam", cultural figure

Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, director of Iran's Organization of Islamic Culture and Relations (ICRO) lauded Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani for revealing the compassionate image of Islam amid the era that Daesh pictured the holy religion as violent.

Top Iranian cultural figure attended the opening day of the international conference on General Soleimani and modern Islamic civilization on Sunday and hailed the leading counter-terrorism commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) for preventing people receiving inaccurate image of true Islam and the new Islamic civilization, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said," The new Islamic civilization is a civilization which maintains both material and spiritual demands of the modern man as General Soleimani was a person who did so."
 
Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman stressed that General Soleimani cannot be confined to a particular geography or religion and said," He had the same support for Christians, Yazidis and other religions that he did for Muslims."
 
According to the director of ICRO the mindset for General Soleimani was that civilization as the vastest foundation for cultural identity and that Islamic civilization was one of these civilizations.
 
He concluded that the Iranian and regional nations owe to General Soleimani for his struggles and his careful views on the new Islamic civilization.
 
Iranian Cultural Followers Association has sponsored the three-day international conference on school of General Soleimani and the new Islamic civilization as a number of elites, intellectuals from Iran and other countries have scheduled to deliver speeches in the virtual event on February 14-16.
