Prominent Iranian cleric, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari noted peace among different Muslim ethnicities as the first principle warning of war and division for providing the ground for world arrogant powers’ benefits in a meeting of his deputies held in Tehran on Sunday.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attended the weekly meeting of deputies at major Islamic unity center to highlight the necessities for renovation of proximity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to importance of maintaining peace among Muslims and said,” To avoid war is a principle in Islam since war leads to division and that makes the ground for benefits for world arrogant powers.”
 
“Should war breaks out among Muslims, they should prevail peace” noted the cleric and stressed that one should interfere if the war is between two Muslim states with one being oppressive on the other.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari noted that Muslims should fight against oppression since that is, according to the holy book of Islam, the sole way towards reform.
 
Top cleric made the comments in the weekly meeting of the deputies at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought held at its headquarter in Tehran.
